1.- Acapulco: every year during Holy Week, Acapulco is still the favorite place of many since it is one of the closest ports to CDMX and you can enjoy beaches, sports and a good rest as you deserve. But what are the must-sees of this area? El Rollo Acapulco, Diego Rivera Mural, La Quebrada and Papagayo Park.
2.- Taxco: this magical town has become the favorite of all the Majas because it is a quiet, romantic place with a lot of history that you will find at only 2 hours from Mexico City. Delve into this beautiful destination full of passion, architecture and a warm decoration. What do we recommend doing in this destination? Visit the blue pools of Atzala, the Christ of Taxco and the Temple of Santa Prisca.
3.- Querétaro: from Palm Sunday you will find in this metropolis a series of significant events of the season. However, the most representative of Holy Week is the Living Viacrucis, starring its locals. Know its gastronomy and attend its cultural events ... you will love them! Among its attractions are: the Government Palace, the Cathedral and its imposing aqueduct.
4.- Tepoztlán: if you are looking for a destination closer to the capital and where you can have contact with nature ... Your best option is Tepoztlán! Since it is located only an hour and a half from CDMX. Get ready to enter El Tepozteco, the former convent of Our Lady of the Nativity and the Sanctuary of the Venaditos.
5.- Mexico City: If you live in the interior of the republic, a trip to the capital will be ideal ... since it is the perfect time to enjoy with your family and discover all those places that Mexico City hides. The must-sees are: the Historic Center, Bosque de Chapultepec, stroll through the museums, visit Teotihuacán and take a ride on the Coyoacán tram.
